Terms & Applicant Consent

These terms apply when you apply to The PRAXIUM Clinical Collaborative, Inc. or use the member portal. Every applicant confirms agreement to them before submitting an application.
Who may apply
Applications are accepted from individuals who are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18 and interested in PRAXIUM, email admin@praxiumcollaborative.com; any participation by a minor requires a separately approved process, including parent or guardian involvement, before an application can be considered.
Voluntary and unpaid participation
All participation — student, staff, mentor, consultant, and chair roles — is voluntary and unpaid unless a separate written agreement signed by PRAXIUM states otherwise. Applying, being accepted, or contributing to a project does not create employment, an internship for credit, a contractor relationship, or any entitlement to compensation or benefits.
No guaranteed placement or outcome
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, and acceptance does not guarantee placement on a project. Placement depends on current project availability, fit, and readiness. Authorship depends on substantive scholarly contribution and applicable authorship standards, and no publication, presentation, abstract acceptance, award, letter, or other scholarly outcome is promised or guaranteed.
Research oversight and compliance boundary
PRAXIUM is not an Institutional Review Board (IRB) and does not review, approve, or authorize research. PRAXIUM does not grant access to patients, protected health information, medical records, restricted datasets, or institutional systems; that authority rests with your own institution and its IRB or equivalent review body.
No patient information
Do not include patient information, protected health information (PHI), medical records, images, or identifiable case details anywhere in this application or in any file you upload. Share only your own background and de-identified descriptions of your work.
Communications
By applying you agree that we may contact you by email at the address you provide and through messages in the PRAXIUM member portal about your application, interviews, projects, and the operation of the collaborative. Portal messages and application-related email are part of the service; you can ask us to stop sending general announcements by replying to any message or emailing admin@praxiumcollaborative.com. PRAXIUM does not currently send text messages; if that changes, this page and the Privacy Policy will describe how text messaging works and how to consent or opt out.
Privacy and how we handle your information
Information you submit is used to review your application, coordinate interviews, and administer participation, as described in our Privacy Policy. Applications and uploaded files are stored in access-controlled systems visible only to authorized PRAXIUM personnel. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time.
Accounts and security
If you receive portal access, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential, for activity under your account, and for not sharing project passwords or downloaded project materials outside the team. Notify us immediately if you suspect your account has been accessed by someone else. PRAXIUM may suspend or close accounts to protect the security or confidentiality of the collaborative's work.
Confidentiality of project work
Non-public project, participant, institutional, and research information shared with you must be kept confidential, including after your involvement ends. Protocols, datasets, drafts, documents, and ideas may not be reused or distributed without authorization, and project-specific confidentiality, authorship, or research agreements may be required.
Independence
PRAXIUM is an independent research and education collaborative. Participation by an individual does not imply endorsement or affiliation by that individual's employer, school, or institution, and participation does not override the policies, intellectual property rules, or requirements of your institution or employer.
About the organization
The PRAXIUM Clinical Collaborative, Inc. is a New York not-for-profit corporation, incorporated in New York on August 17, 2026 (New York DOS ID 8018539). Incorporation as a not-for-profit corporation is not a determination of federal tax-exempt status; nothing on this site should be read as a statement that PRAXIUM holds IRS 501(c)(3) recognition or that contributions are tax-deductible.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown above. Continued use of the site or the member portal after a change means you accept the updated terms.
