The PRAXIUM Clinical Collaborative, Inc. respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can reach us with questions.
About the organization
The PRAXIUM Clinical Collaborative, Inc. is a New York not-for-profit corporation focused on clinical research, research education, mentorship, and structured scholarly collaboration. It was incorporated in New York on August 17, 2026 (New York DOS ID 8018539). PRAXIUM is an independent collaborative: participation by an individual does not imply endorsement or affiliation by that individual's employer or institution. Participation in projects and advisory roles is voluntary, and authorship depends on substantive scholarly contribution and applicable standards.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly through our application and contact forms, including your name, email address, phone number, location, school or program, training background, research interests, availability, professional links, and any résumé or curriculum vitae (CV) you upload. We also receive basic technical information automatically — such as your IP address, browser type, and device information — through standard web hosting and analytics services.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to respond to your messages, review and process applications, coordinate interviews, communicate with you about the collaborative, match members to projects, improve our website, and keep the site secure. We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party service providers
To operate the site, we rely on a small number of third-party providers that process information on our behalf: our hosting provider (site delivery and storage), our email provider (sending application confirmations and notifications), our form and database provider (storing submissions), and analytics services (understanding site usage). These providers may process your information only as needed to deliver their services to us. We may also share information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.
Application data and CVs
Applications and uploaded CVs are stored securely in access-controlled systems that are visible only to authorized PRAXIUM personnel involved in application review and administration. CV files are not publicly accessible; they are shared only through secure, time-limited links when needed for application review.
Data retention and rejected applications
We retain application data while your application is under active consideration and for a reasonable period afterward so we can follow up about future opportunities. If an application is declined, we may keep a minimal record of the submission before deleting it; uploaded CVs from declined applications are deleted within a reasonable timeframe. You may ask us to delete your application at any time (see below).
Cookies and analytics
Our site may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the website and to improve the experience. The application form also saves unfinished drafts locally in your own browser (localStorage) so you don't lose progress; this data stays on your device until you submit or clear it. You can control cookies and local storage through your browser settings.
Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including access controls on administrative areas and secure storage for uploaded files, but no website can guarantee complete security. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your information.
How we communicate with you
We communicate with applicants and members by email at the address you provide and through messages in the PRAXIUM member portal — for example application updates, interview scheduling, project coordination, and portal notifications. We do not currently send text messages. If we begin using text messaging, we will update this policy to describe that use, how consent is obtained, and how to opt out. You can ask us to stop sending general announcements at any time by replying to a message or emailing the address below; messages that are necessary to process your application or your account may continue.
No patient information
Do not include patient information, protected health information (PHI), medical records, images, or identifiable case details anywhere in this application or in any file you upload. Share only your own background and de-identified descriptions of your work.
Research oversight boundary
PRAXIUM is not an Institutional Review Board (IRB) and does not review, approve, or authorize research. PRAXIUM does not grant access to patients, protected health information, medical records, restricted datasets, or institutional systems; that authority rests with your own institution and its IRB or equivalent review body.
Age requirement
Applications and portal accounts are for individuals 18 years of age or older, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18 and interested in PRAXIUM, email us before applying; any participation by a minor requires a separately approved process. If we learn we have collected information from someone under 18 outside that process, we will delete it.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can ask us to access, update, or delete your personal information — including your application and CV — at any time by emailing us at the address below. We will honor reasonable requests in accordance with applicable law, typically within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
