Who we are
The PRAXIUM Clinical Collaborative, Inc. is a New York not-for-profit corporation focused on clinical research, research education, mentorship, and structured scholarly collaboration. Students, trainees, and practicing physicians work together on research with guidance at every step.
What we do
PRAXIUM organizes research teams, pairs members with experienced mentors, and provides the structure — timelines, roles, and review checkpoints — that supports members through each stage of a research project. Publication, presentation, authorship, and other scholarly outcomes are never guaranteed. Specialty research chairs help guide the clinical perspective within their field.
How participation works
Participation in projects, chairs, and advisory roles is voluntary and unpaid unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. PRAXIUM is an independent research and education collaborative: individual participation does not imply institutional endorsement or affiliation. Authorship depends on substantive scholarly contribution and applicable authorship standards.
Research oversight
PRAXIUM is not an Institutional Review Board (IRB) and does not review, approve, or authorize research. PRAXIUM does not grant access to patients, protected health information, medical records, restricted datasets, or institutional systems; that authority rests with your own institution and its IRB or equivalent review body.
